The Rubicon Estate Winery is situated in Rutherford, California, USA. The winery’s location is an historic Napa Valley property, that was first acquired in 1879 by a Finnish Sea Captain Gustave Niebaum, founder of the Winery. The warm growing season of 2004 resulted in ripe red cherry and rum raisin flavors. All of the Cabernet grapes on the estate were picked at full maturity and were rich with color and flavor. 100% new American Oak barrels were used to add the toasty vanilla and maple scents, creating additional layers to the CASK blend
