Château Prieuré-Lichine is a winery in the Margaux appellation of the Bordeaux region. The winery produces one of ten Quatrièmes Crus (Fourth Growths) of the historic Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. It is a blend of 65% Cabernet, 30% Merlot & 5% Cabernet Franc which come from 30 year old vineyards in average. Everything is hand-picked and manually sorted. The ageing process occurs in oak barrel for around 16 months. The result is a concentrated wine, rich with tannins and black plum fruits.
